Rancho Playa Negra

Rancho Playa Negra, the only private gated seaside community on the Gold Coast, is an exclusive enclave limited to thirty-seven discriminating families. The community includes eleven large ocean front lots (almost half and acre each) and twenty-six other lots, all within 200 yards of the beach. The Rancho’s twelve-plus acres of gently rolling bluffs overlook the Pacific with spectacular views up and down the coast.

Minutes from the beach resorts of Junquillal and Tamarindo, Rancho Playa Negra is accessible by mostly paved highway, directly west of the regional capital of Santa Cruz on the Nicoya Peninsula. The area is served by the new international airport in Liberia, two domestic airports and regular public transportation. Major beach resorts, golf and recreation facilities, a marina, and several of the country’s famous national parks are located nearby. This section of the Gold Coast has some of the country’s most picturesque light blond sand beaches, excellent for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and other water sports. Playa Negra is considered one of the best and most consistent surf breaks in Costa Rica

Rancho Playa Negra was established as a private community with specific regulations and restrictions to maintain a quality residential atmosphere. Purchasers receive inscribed, recorded and registered rights to a percentage of maintenance and administration of community public areas. Roads and security will be under the direction of the community association to which all lot owners belong and will be financed by annual assessments.
