Anacapa Pacifica provides professional management consulting and
project development in the in the area of tourism development
and real estate for foreign and domestic clients. With decades
of experience in Latin America, Anacapa's, multilingual staff
includes administrative, legal, accounting, marketing and
development professionals.
Our most recent consulting project is a continuing series of
subcontracts under the USAID-funded Support for Economic Growth
and Institutional Reform Project (SEGUIR)/General Business
Development and Trade Investment Project. This work in the Kingdom
of Jordan with the Aqaba Technical Assistance Support Project
(ATASP III) is designed to facilitate the complete development
of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ). This is a multimillion-dollar
project which will transform Jordan's only port from a small
provincial government enterprise into a major industrial free
trade zone and a destination tourist resort. We coordinate advising
on asset and property valuations, zoning, "best-use" scenarios,
management issues and other related areas. Work also includes
development of several training seminars in management, marketing
and tourism development.
Another major project was a recently completed two-year contract for
administrative management of Century 21 Marina Trading Post a real
estate firm in Costa Rica. Work facilitated the expansion from one
to four offices with over 35 sales executives. This included
recruitment, training, motivation and supervision of sales force
and office staff, accounting department and training support personnel,
supervision of all closings, co-broker deals referral contracts,
marketing and promotion. We also handled all company relationships
with professional associations, chambers, government institutions
and the community at large. This administrative consultation still
continues with the Century 21 office in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica.
Other projects include multi-year contracts for tourism urbanization
projects to create environmentally sound, low-density planned
communities in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica. These include
a 100 plus unit development, Surfside Estates in Playa Potrero, an
exclusive gated community for 38 luxury homes, Flamingo Estates in
Playa Flamingo, and two 50 plus lot gated communities; Rancho Playa
Negra and Villas Euphoria in Playa Carrillo.
Our work teams guide clients throughout the project development stages
from initial concept design, feasibility analysis, budgeting, contract
and sub-contract development and negotiation, permit and other
government approval processes, through infrastructure design,
execution, inspection and completion to marketing concept design and
execution and actual sales strategy. We are currently working on the
initial phases of two new projects the 250 acre Punta Islita project
in Playa Carrillo and a 100 acre resort community in Playa Camaronal.
